Overview
OMDis continues to leverage its unique position to stimulate development in the tourism industry. For the past 5 years we have achieved great milestones. Through this initiative the orange river tourism concession was awarded to OMDis, we refurbished the Jasper House Museum and inaugurated the Bom Jesus Shipwreck exhibition room. In addition, OMDis have successfully done public murals, sculptures, hosted 3 annual artists’ retreats in the Tsau //Khaeb National Park with exhibitions in Oranjemund and in Windhoek and brought in specialist artists from Namibia, Angola, South Africa and German to teach the local community.
